ABOUT URSUS.

Ursus came about because of the unique passions of one man. An avid outdoorsman, he spends much of his time in the wilds of Alaska fishing for salmon and bear hunting.

When he’s not in the woods he earns his living as a highly skilled jeweler.

It is the combination of these two skills that led, quite obviously, to pay homage to the spirit of the bear by forever capturing its essence in a jewelry form.

Each Ursus piece is unique, matching claws and teeth with genuine gold nuggets, precious gems, Mammoth ivory and fine gold fittings.

It is more that just beautiful jewelry, it is a tribute to the power and the majesty that is Ursus Americanus, the American Black Bear.
